PANAMA CITY BEACH — Hard work paid off for Arnold High School students who helped The Krewe of Dominique Youx with this year’s Mardi Gras season.
The Krewe of Dominique Youx Foundation handed a $2,000 check to Arnold’s Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps Program and a $700 check to the boys basketball team.
“These checks were a donation to the programs for all they do helping the krewe keep the three Bay County parades we participate in safe for the men, women and children,” said John Dunaway of Dominique Youx.
Arnold’s programs were recognized for assisting as wheel walkers next to the floats during parades to ensure the safety of the crowds. The school’s NJROTC program also provided a color guard for the two dress balls the krewe holds each year.
