The Krewe of Dominique Youx is a Mardi Gras society created for the enjoyment of the people of Bay County and is comprised of a remarkable collection of Pirates and their ladies. We are a non-profit, civic organization for the purpose of promoting and advancing the economic growth and welfare of the citizens of Panama City, Panama City Beach and Bay County, Florida. You’ll find that many of our members, when not being bloodthirsty pirates, are very involved in making our community a better place. Our members have been leaders in many professional, community and philanthropic organizations in Bay County. A collaboration of committees give hundreds of hours toward planning and producing several events and fundraisers each year. Our fundraising efforts redistribute funds every year back into the community and our events generate hundreds of thousands of dollars of economic stimulus to Bay County. KODY is proud to support other events throughout Florida with our traveling parade float and dedicated members.
Members of the Krewe of Dominique Youx take our community obligations seriously, this commitment to support led to the founding of the KODY Foundation Inc, our 501(c)(3) non profit organization (EIN #82-2407490) that supports local charitable organizations.
Our efforts are deeply rooted in community involvement. We work closely with local schools, educational institutions, and other non-profit organizations to identify and address the unique needs of our community’s youth. Through partnerships and volunteer efforts, we aim to create a supportive network that uplifts and empowers the youth of Bay County and beyond. Our primary charitable focus is on supporting children and education, recognizing that investing in our youth is investing in the future. Each year, we dedicate our resources and efforts to different initiatives that enhance the educational experience and overall well-being of children in our community.
