Today the Krewe of Dominique Youx Queens, Princesses, Pirates and Members had the privilege of presenting Margaret K. Lewis with the new Mardi Gras float made possible by the Krewe of Dominique Youx. We obtained a grant from the St. Joe Foundation and built the float specifically to meet the needs of their students. We are so blessed to be able to support the SOARing Eagles. They also crowned their Mardi Gras King and Queen- Kaemon and Kristen! (congratulations to you both)!! Rolan Peak spear-headed this effort, and was assisted by a wonderful group of KODY members who volunteered their time on numerous nights & weekends, being rewarded by the smiles on all the kids faces is absolutely amazing!!
