Krewe of Dominique Youx Members participate in a Summer Beach Clean-Up in Support of Toys for Kids Foundation!
The Krewe of Dominique Youx participated in a special summer beach clean-up event on Saturday, August 3rd, 2024. This event was hosted by our friends at Pineapple Willy’s, and we were thrilled to be part of this community effort to keep our beautiful beaches clean and pristine. Along with a few additional members not pictured, we had over 25 KODY members attend this effort. This wonderful initiative not only helps preserve our local environment but also supports a fantastic cause that brings joy and happiness to children in need. For each participant in the beach clean-up, Pineapple Willy’s donated $10 to the Toys for Kids Foundation. The Toys for Kids Foundation is our current KODY Board President’s charity of choice. Additionally, the Toys For Kids founder, Chris Moates is also a member of the Krewe of Dominique Youx.
Pineapple Willy’s along with their supporters have organized the weekly Summer Beach Clean up every Saturday until September 7th, 2024. We encourage everyone in the community to join in this effort and help support other community organizations, keep our beaches clean, and share in the spirit of giving back. Let’s come together each weekend for a day of community service, fun, and philanthropy. We look forward to seeing you there and making a meaningful difference together!
